Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies (e.g., Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat)
- Analyze business and system requirements to develop effective and scalable technical solutions
- Contribute within an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Debug, review, and maintain existing systems to ensure performance, stability, and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, architects, and quality assurance professionals—to deliver production-ready features
- Apply best practices in code quality, version control, and DevOps continuous integration
- Optionally, use AWS for cloud-based application deployment and infrastructure management
- Provide technical and knowledge sharing with team members
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java development
- Java Struts, WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle, Javascript, AWS (preferred)
- Understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, frameworks (such as Spring or Hibernate), REST APIs, and relational databases
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda) is a plus
- Hands-on experience working in an Agile SDLC environment
- Ability to analyze complex issues and deliver efficient, maintainable solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting
- Capable of managing tasks and priorities with minimal supervision
