About the role
- Senior Apple Platform Engineer managing enterprise macOS platforms in Romania. Responsible for design, security, and troubleshooting within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate the enterprise macOS platform for the EU region
- Design and evolve macOS management using Jamf Pro (cloud)
- Develop and maintain configuration profiles, security baselines, compliance policies, and restrictions
- Package, deploy, and maintain applications using PKG, scripts, and Jamf workflows
- Continuously improve enrollment, patching, and software delivery processes
- Implement and maintain macOS security controls aligned with corporate requirements
- Manage FileVault, PPPC, system extensions, and OS-level security settings
- Troubleshoot all types of macOS platform issues, including network, proxy, and VPN issues
- Ensure macOS compliance and operational health is accurately reflected in Azure AD / Intune reporting
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience managing macOS in enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of Jamf Pro, including automation, scripting, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of macOS security and privacy controls
- Proven ability to design, operate, and scale Apple management solutions
- Extensive experience troubleshooting macOS platforms across network, system, application, and security layers
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across regions and time zones
