Responsibilities
- Owns infrastructure and cloud security across on-prem and Azure-centric environments
- Diagnose, solution, and fix security issues across Linux, Windows, AKS, and container platforms
- Lead hands-on vulnerability remediation across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
- Own vulnerability management using Wiz, including triage, root-cause analysis, remediation planning, and closure tracking
- Remediate vulnerabilities across Linux and Windows OS (patching, hardening, configuration fixes)
- Design and enforce security baselines for Azure infrastructure, compute, and platform services
- Partner with DevOps, platform, and application teams to embed security into build and deployment workflows
- Act as the primary security SME during audits, risk reviews, and customer security assessments
- Mentor engineers on practical cloud security, OS hardening, and remediation best practices
Requirements
- Infra & Cloud Security SME Function: Infrastructure Engineering
- 10-12 years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform security roles
- Mandatory hands-on experience securing both Linux and Windows in enterprise environments
- Hands on experience in remediating vulnerabilities in AKS clusters and containers
- Proven track record of actually remediating vulnerabilities
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
- AZ-500, CISSP, or CCSP preferred
