About the role
- Senior Platform Engineer at Brevo architecting resilient data storage solutions and automating data lifecycle management. Bridging Linux internals and automation for improved engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Architect and automate the lifecycle of our data-storage ecosystem (SQL, NoSQL, Object, and File)
- Tune kernels, optimise parameters, and deep-dive into PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, and ScyllaDB
- Design and enforce bulletproof backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies
- Implement deep telemetry. Define and defend SLOs/SLAs and manage error budgets
- Build APIs and self-service workflows that empower developers to provision storage
- Lead the charge during complex production incidents.
Requirements
- You have a total and relevant experience between 6-9 Years
- You have a deep-seated love for Linux systems engineering
- You are comfortable across multiple data paradigms
- If you have to do it twice, you automate it
- You live by SRE principles
- You understand the nuances of replication lag, CAP theorem trade-offs, and distributed consensus.
