Responsibilities
- Edit high quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, and other distribution platforms.
- Craft highlight packages, match clips, recap videos, behind the scenes stories, and other sports focused content.
- Build and maintain editing workflows, templates, and visual systems for recurring formats.
- Work with raw footage, motion graphics, sound, and archival clips to create polished final cuts.
- Collaborate with producers, social media teams, and content strategists to bring narratives to life.
- Take a project from brief to delivery while maintaining consistency across all edits.
- Produce quick turnaround edits during live cricket matches and other sporting events.
- Ensure all videos follow brand guidelines and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Keep up with editing trends, sports culture, and content styles popular across digital platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional video editing experience with a strong sports portfolio.
- Solid understanding of cricket and familiarity with its key moments, rules, storylines, and audience expectations.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, along with strong skills in color correction, audio syncing, and basic motion graphics.
- Ability to create templates, build timelines efficiently, and develop repeatable editing systems.
- Strong storytelling instincts with the ability to turn raw footage into compelling content.
- Self driven approach with the ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working under tight timelines and delivering high quality work at speed.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight timelines.
- Nice to Have Experience working with athletes, sports teams, or sports brands.
- Motion graphics or video editing experience.
- Familiarity with creating content for fast paced social media environments
