About the role

  • Outpatient Clinical Director managing clinical programs at Bradford Health Services. Supervising staff and ensuring high-quality behavioral health services in compliance with standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to therapists, counselors, case managers, and sometimes BHT’s, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Develop and implement clinical programming, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals.
  • Oversee admissions, discharges, and extensions of treatment, ensuring decisions align with patient needs and clinical best practices.
  • Ensure all treatment schedules, staff schedules, and group therapy offerings are maintained and delivered effectively.
  • Conduct staff meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision to support professional development and ensure high standards of patient care.
  • When needed, carry a clinical caseload to supplement client therapy needs.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision to therapists and counselors working toward licensure.
  • Ensure ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, enhancing knowledge in addiction treatment and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements such as CARF.
  • Conduct regular audits of patient records, documentation, and treatment plans to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Participate in utilization review meetings, representing patient needs in both clinical and financial considerations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Mediate patient and family concerns regarding treatment delivery, ensuring a patient-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, case management, and social services to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in addiction treatment and integrate new research into clinical programming.

Requirements

  • Full clinical licensure required (LPC, LCDC, LCSW).
  • Master’s degree in social or behavioral science preferred.
  • Full supervision licensure (LPC-S, LPC-MHSP, NCC, ACS) preferred upon hire.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Three years of experience in managing clinical programs preferred.
