About the role

  • Junior Consultant for Public Affairs at BOLDT BPI focusing on communication and stakeholder engagement. Involved in strategic project planning with international collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage various consulting mandates as a member of our teams and independently, in the areas of public affairs, corporate communications, media relations, campaigning and reputation management
  • Contribute to the strategic and creative conception, planning and implementation of client projects, together with colleagues in other European markets and the USA — in German and English
  • Support the development and implementation of media and positioning strategies, social media campaigns and crisis communication
  • Communicate with various media, opinion leaders, political institutions and the pre-political arena
  • Assist with planning, execution and follow-up of client and stakeholder meetings, as well as events, conferences and campaigns
  • Support the planning and execution of new business inquiries
  • Prepare presentations, briefings, research and analyses
  • Build and expand personal, reliable networks across media, politics and business
  • Support office management and administrative tasks

Requirements

  • You are a team player and enthusiastic about rethinking communication together with us
  • You have already gained between 2 and 4 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, corporate communications, journalism/media relations, politics and/or association work
  • You hold a university degree, preferably with a focus in communication, journalism, political science or a related field
  • You speak German at native level and have very good written and spoken English
  • You communicate confidently and on equal terms with clients, journalists and key stakeholders
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, a high service orientation, excellent presentation abilities and analytical thinking
  • You work in a structured, reliable and independent manner
  • You are curious, committed and enjoy new challenges
