Responsibilities
Performs project engineering for a variety of seat projects and supplier actions
Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for seat design, certification, and installation
Communicates project status to various Boeing teams and stakeholders
Provides Engineering leadership to a Seats Integration team
Responds to changes to SOW and negotiates proposed changes
Leads project execution to complete engineering work statement
Identifies and reports project technical performance metrics to leadership
Performs technical integration of multiple engineering disciplines on complex projects
Identifies program level seat risk and works on mitigation strategies
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
9+ years of experience working with or equivalent industry experience
14+ years of experience working with or equivalent industry experience (preferred)
Knowledge of payloads engineering releases and configuration management processes
Ability to travel (10-20 percent) international and domestic
Experience in implementing and sustaining project management best practices
Possess strong attention to detail and effective collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in Certification Plan Authoring
Experience in CATIA, ENOVIA, IVT, DCCS, and REDARS
Experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and EASA equivalent
Experience in reviewing technical documents
