About the role
- Senior Network Architect design and implement network systems for Boeing’s Defense, Space, and Security business. Collaborate with IT leaders and BDS stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Determines strategic requirements for network designs.
- Provides strategic input on architectural designs, network technology products and services.
- Uses program plans and technical research to recommend technological applications.
- Act as a senior network architect to assess program requirements and integrate activities.
- Responsible to manage the scope of work for program activities.
- Project management for multiple activities and prioritization.
- Identify resources needed for successful accomplishment.
- Oversight and collaboration to accomplish Network Design, equipment procurement, configuration and installation.
- Support to security activities such as US government Risk Management Framework (RMF) Compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Cisco Routers, Switches and IOS
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of LAN and WAN Networks
- Minimum 10 years of experience with TCP/IP Network Protocols
- 5+ years of experience with COMSEC encryption devices
- Secret security clearance
- Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems
- Previous team leadership experience
- Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 certification (Security+ preferred)
- CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification
- Top Secret/SCI security clearance; with a full-scope polygraph examination
