About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and dashboards for Executive team
- Perform variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Prepare or review monthly journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations
- Understand and assist with the review of subledger accounting entries by working closely with AR, AP, and the Project Accounting team
- Manage transactions related to joint venture accounting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS guidance, company accounting policies, and internal control procedures
- Support management in completing financial reports, special projects, and analyses
- Proactively look for innovative processes & reporting improvements
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 7 years combined experience in full cycle accounting and financial reporting/analysis
- Superior knowledge of Excel and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to embrace technology for continuous improvements
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Demonstrated flexibility, strong commitment to meeting deadlines, and effective decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization
- Self-motivator with ability to work independently.
