About the role
- Controller responsible for analyzing financial statements and optimizing production costs in a leading product labeling company. Supports management with financial analyses and strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- You analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements prepared under HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS.
- Responsible for budget planning, forecasts and actual-vs.-budget comparisons.
- Conduct profitability and variance analyses to optimize production costs and processes.
- Develop and further enhance controlling instruments, particularly in cost accounting and production control.
- Support management and operational departments with sound financial analyses and actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to strategic projects and investment calculations.
- Serve as a key user in the implementation and continuous development of our ERP system.
- Optimize internal reporting structures and business processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration (focus on accounting/controlling), commercial training or comparable qualification with several years of professional experience
- Strong commercial/business understanding
- Affinity for digitalization topics
- Structured way of working, self-initiative and team spirit
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
