About the role
- Senior Technical Architect responsible for WMS solutions implementation and technical liaison with clients. Requires extensive experience in corporate environments for optimal customer process facilitation.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a technical liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users.
- Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team.
- Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
- Interacts with Product Management Group & Product Development Team regarding new releases and new functionality and acts as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team.
- Works as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of corporate experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Expertise in functional configuration of WMS product
- Technical Integration

- Performance Tuning
- Hands-on Experience on Technical configuration of WMS product (preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS).
- Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS.
- Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems
- Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage.
- Strong proactive communicator and presenter.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Understanding of Database structures.
