About the role
- BI Platform Engineer managing analytics and planning systems at Blue Bee Intelligence GmbH. Install, configure, and maintain systems on Windows and Linux servers while collaborating with BI consultants.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure and operate our BI and planning systems on Windows and Linux servers.
- Take care of updates, patches and securing the systems (including authentication, certificates, encryption).
- Work closely with our BI consultants to set up and operate new solutions.
- Analyze incidents and performance issues, identify sustainable solutions and document your changes.
- Support the build and operation of cloud environments (e.g. in Azure) and contribute your ideas for automation and standardization.
Requirements
- Experience in administering servers or applications (e.g. databases, BI/analytics systems, ERP, etc.).
- Good knowledge of Windows or Linux administration.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and working with databases.
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Initial experience with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Batch or Shell).
- Strong willingness to learn and an interest in BI and planning systems; we will train you in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Very good German skills (at least C1), good English skills.
