About the role
- BI Platform Engineer managing and optimizing IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) systems. Working closely with BI Consultants and ensuring system stability and performance in a hybrid setup.
Responsibilities
- You install, configure and operate our BI and planning systems on Windows and Linux servers.
- You take care of updates, patches and securing the systems (including authentication, certificates and encryption).
- You work closely with our BI consultants to set up and run new solutions.
- You analyze incidents and performance issues, identify sustainable solutions and document your changes.
- You support the setup and operation of cloud environments (e.g., in Azure) and contribute ideas for automation and standardization.
Requirements
- Experience administering servers or applications (e.g., databases, BI/analytics systems, ERP or similar).
- Good knowledge of Windows or Linux administration.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and working with databases.
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Initial experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Batch or shell).
- Strong willingness to learn and interest in BI and planning systems; we will train you on IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English skills.
