About the role

  • Conferences Assistant supporting the Associate Conferences Manager in logistics and supply management for Bloomsbury events. Coordinating with marketers and editors for conference queries and materials.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Associate Conferences Manager with picking & packing supplies
  • Tracking shipments
  • Updating ExhibitDay (conference database)
  • Monitoring supplies stock
  • Processing invoices
  • Ordering branded materials
  • Creating order forms
  • Following up with marketers and editors on any conference logistics queries
  • Occasional travel to local conferences and/or to other Bloomsbury offices

Requirements

  • Advanced MS Office skills, Excel in particular
  • Exceptionally organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptability
