- Manual + API Testing Technical Lead responsible for analyzing requirements and executing tests for web and API applications. Providing quality assurance through comprehensive testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web applications across various platforms.
- Execute API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar.
- Validate RESTful APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, Test Rail or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in regression, smoke, and sanity testing cycles.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement of testing processes.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in manual testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- Strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON/XML formats.
- Familiarity with SDLC and STLC.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
