About the role

  • Practice Director driving solution design and technical leadership in Oracle JD Edwards. Collaborating with sales and delivery teams to address business challenges for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end presales activities for JD Edwards opportunities, including discovery, solution design, and proposal development.
  • Act as the solution architect for JDE EnterpriseOne implementations, upgrades, and managed services.
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance JDE solutions aligned with client business objectives.
  • Develop solution architectures, estimates, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Conduct executive-level and technical presentations, workshops, and product demonstrations.
  • Lead requirement discovery sessions and translate business needs into JDE solution blueprints.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on JDE best practices, modernization, and roadmap planning.
  • Partner with Sales to:
  • Qualify opportunities
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs
  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Build pricing and effort estimates
  • Articulate the value proposition of JDE versus competitive ERP solutions.
  • Support deal closures by addressing technical, functional, and integration concerns.
  • Stay current with Oracle JDE roadmap, tools, and cloud strategies (OCI, hybrid models).
  • Develop reusable presales assets: solution templates, demos, presentations, and case studies.
  • Mentor junior presales consultants and delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, including:
  • Financials
  • Manufacturing
  • Distribution & Supply Chain
  • Procurement
  • Asset Management
  • Optional Experience with:
  • JDE CNC architecture
  • Integrations (REST, Orchestrator, third-party systems)
  • Reporting tools (BI Publisher, One View Reporting)
  • Knowledge of cloud, hybrid, and on-prem deployments (OCI preferred).
  • Proven presales leadership experience in ERP or enterprise applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (technical and executive audiences).
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology to ROI and outcomes.
  • Experience working with US enterprise customers across multiple industries.
  • Oracle JDE certifications
  • Experience with JDE upgrades (e.g., 9.1 to 9.2), transformations, or cloud migrations
  • Exposure to complementary Oracle solutions (OCI, OIC, Autonomous DB)
