Responsibilities
- Leading capital infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion
- Acting as the owner’s representative to deliver a portfolio of projects
- Working closely with clients and organizations
- Procuring and leading a multi-disciplined team through the project life cycle
- Providing comprehensive project status reports
- Leading the change management process
- Accurately maintaining project control documentation
- Mentoring less experienced Project Managers
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of previous related work experience in a facilities or civil engineering environment
- Post-Secondary education in Engineering, Urban Planning, Project Management, Construction Technology, Public Administration or related field
- Registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC, with ASTTBC or equivalent are assets
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Experience on projects with values greater than approximately $25 million
- Previous experience working with public authorities or institutions
- Previous experience working with facilities or utilities projects
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle
- Progressive experience in managing all aspects of project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects
