Responsibilities
Coordinate daily operations, crew deployment, and allocate vehicles, equipment, and materials to meet service requirements.
Maintain effective staffing, vehicle, and equipment schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
Manage inductions, attendance, and performance, providing coaching and support in line with company policies.
Ensure accurate completion of reports, timesheets, and schedules, maintaining full compliance with contract and company standards.
Promote a strong safety culture, enforce procedures, and take prompt action on unsafe practices or incidents.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with Local Authorities and partners, representing Biffa professionally at meetings.
Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, support business objectives, and complete all required training.
Requirements
Full, valid UK driving licence (able to drive vehicles up to 3.5T).
Proven experience supervising teams within operations, waste management, logistics, or a similar environment.
