About the role

  • Senior Identity Security Engineer at Flutter UKI focusing on identity security and IAM infrastructure. Designing and implementing automation of security processes and supporting the team in technical decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements and owns the automation of identity security business processes including but not limited to Joiner, Movers, Leavers, application integrations, access reviews and Policy Violations
  • Owns the maintenance of Identity Security tools (SailPoint IIQ) and processes
  • Monitors Identity security applications with an in-depth understanding of dashboarding monitoring and relevant tools
  • Champions Identity security principles to various forums and stakeholders.
  • Proactively stays up to date with the latest Identity security trends and informs their colleagues about them
  • Champions peer review
  • Proactively identifies and addresses problems with existing technical processes, quality and tools
  • Explains all aspects of the Identity platforms to new engineers or joiners of the wider Identity team
  • Maintains blueprint and target infrastructure documentation with software engineers / solution architects
  • Supports the leadership and stakeholders in making design and technical decisions
  • Gets buy-in on technical decision-making and proposed designs
  • Mediates debates and discussions on tech choices related to Identity security technology
  • Is a subject matter expert in Identity Security
  • Drives risk-based access control technical improvements to ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements
  • Strong understanding of Azure and AWS cloud technologies
  • Continuously seek to improve Identity security processes and technologies.

Requirements

  • Excellent understanding of Identity security technologies with a focus on SailPoint IIQ
  • Excellent engineering mindset
  • Good understanding of API usage or previous experience in extending functionality to existing products using APIs
  • Good understanding of OOP with previous experience in one programming language (Java)
  • Disciplined and logical thinker, with the ability to draw conclusions from large and complex data sets
  • Delivery driven with a sensible attitude to risk
  • Proficient level of spoken and written English (B2, C1) (fluency in English is necessary)
  • Good process and Service design, automation, and operationalization
  • Good understanding of various IT processes and technologies (cloud, virtualization, databases, networking, software development)
  • General understanding of information security best practices
  • Good verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Knowledge and ease of working with security policies and standards
  • Ability to Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
  • An advocate for high-quality work within their team and a team player.
