About the role
- IT Infrastructure Analyst at Bernoulli, executing backup routines, supporting infrastructures, and ensuring data availability. Collaborating with technical teams and enhancing technology operations.
Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor backup routines by overseeing backup servers and performing test plans to ensure the availability of historical restore points for lost or altered data.
- Supervise third‑party technical teams during infrastructure services and the installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment in Data Center environments, based on Service Desk requests and the Infrastructure Leader’s demands, to assist the third party in completing contracted tasks.
- Provide incident and support handling by responding to Level 2 Service Desk requests, aiming to resolve failures, advise on correct use of technology resources, and maintain service quality.
- Monitor and support internal and external events, locally or remotely, to ensure the necessary computer, internet, and network infrastructure is available for each event.
- Perform maintenance and support for network infrastructure, Data Center, telephony, and other IT equipment through regular maintenance routines, activation of monitoring systems, and responses to internal requests to ensure availability and minimize risk of business impact or loss.
- Assist in executing infrastructure project activities according to the Infrastructure Leader’s guidance, applying your knowledge and skill level to deliver the project as planned.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Information Technology or a related field.
- Familiarity with Office 365.
- Experience with backup routines and backup tools.
- Basic knowledge of server installation and configuration.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks and telephony systems.
- Basic knowledge of information security.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL.
