About the role
- IS Mechanical Designer I designing mechanical systems at ENFRA. Collaborating with engineers and project managers to produce design documents and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to create high-level concepts and designs.
- Conduct field surveys to identify existing equipment types and system capabilities.
- Produce design documents including drawings, system flow diagrams and architecture, wiring diagrams, construction details, and equipment scheduling.
- Deliver concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines.
- Contribute to all areas of the creative process and department.
- Perform work under direct supervision and assist with the development of technical reports or related documents.
Requirements
- Associate degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or automatic temperature controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
