About the role

Responsibilities
- You will gain insight into the administration, installation and operation of Windows-based server systems
- You will assist with the design and implementation of virtualization solutions
- You will share responsibility for security and backups
- You will assist in administering SQL Servers, databases, Active Directory, as well as email and archiving systems
- You will take care of network administration (routers, switches, VPN, firewall, telephone system, VoIP)
- You will handle support requests for the entire Bergzeit team
- You will gain insight into the administration of Linux-based web server clusters
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a (technical) high school diploma (Fachabitur) or an intermediate secondary school certificate (Mittlere Reife)
- You are interested in computer science and enjoy mathematical-analytical thinking
- You have initial IT experience from school or personal projects
- You are confident using common MS Office programs
- You are reliable and open to new tasks
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team
- You are interested in e-commerce
