About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the Operational Compliance Directorate in applying laws, regulations and corporate policies
- Contribute to strategic projects and to the implementation of solutions aimed at ensuring compliance and reducing regulatory risks
- Plan, assist with and manage member complaint files
- Serve as a point of contact for complex complaints
- Participate in the development and updating of corporate policies and procedures
- Advise business units on the AML/ATF (Anti‑Money Laundering and Anti‑Terrorist Financing) compliance program
- Monitor compliance of existing processes and procedures
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws and member of the Bar
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework and business practices specific to the insurance industry
- Good knowledge of insurance operations and the sales process of an insurance company
- Good knowledge of AML/ATF regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of policies and procedures related to complaints handling and dispute resolution
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
- Advanced command of English, both spoken and written
