About the role

  • Global Quality Standards Harmonization Manager at Belden managing quality initiatives across business units and product lines. Collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to implement and monitor quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a unified framework for global quality management across all regions, business units, and product lines
  • Work closely with senior leadership, regional quality managers, and cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to align and harmonize quality initiatives across all levels of the organization
  • Lead the creation of training materials and programs to educate internal teams on global quality standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop key performance indicators to track and measure the effectiveness of harmonized quality standards and provide regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and achievements
  • Benchmark global quality practices against industry standards and competitor best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of quality innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electronics), Operations Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or a related field
  • at least 3 years in a multi-site leadership or harmonization-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of global quality standards (ISO 9001 and others)
  • expert project management skills, preferably with certifications in project management methods
  • proactive stakeholder management
  • familiarity with software tools like SharePoint, ViFlow, and other quality management tools
  • Culturally aware, proactive, and results-driven professional with a strong analytical mindset
  • fluency in English, any other major European language is an advantage
