About the role

Responsibilities

- Develop and design components and assemblies as part of multidisciplinary teams.
- Design machines and equipment with a focus on sheet metal constructions (experience with plastics desirable).
- Conceptualize, design and size components and mechanisms using CAD (Siemens NX).
- Create production-ready drawings.
- Supervise and manage prototypes and validation tests.
- Modify existing components and assemblies.
- Support sample approval processes.
- Manage design documentation using BDT IT systems.
- Review and prepare documentation, coordinating with customers and suppliers when required.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in design of complex mechanical systems/assemblies.
- Strong CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX and/or SAP ECTR).
- Excellent team and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Independent, systematic, goal-oriented and meticulous working style.
