Responsibilities
Bring your creativity to the table!
Develop and design components and assemblies as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Design machines and equipment with a focus on sheet metal constructions (experience with plastics desirable).
Conceptualize, design and size components and mechanisms using CAD (Siemens NX).
Create production-ready drawings.
Supervise and manage prototypes and validation tests.
Modify existing components and assemblies.
Support sample approval processes.
Manage design documentation using BDT IT systems.
Review and prepare documentation, coordinating with customers and suppliers when required.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in design of complex mechanical systems/assemblies.
Strong CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX and/or SAP ECTR).
Excellent team and communication skills.
