About the role

  • Clinical Solutions Manager bridging clinical and business aspects at BD, ensuring understanding and utilization of innovative health solutions across the UCC spectrum.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a continually evolving partnership between multiple hospital departments, C-Suite, UCC National Accounts, and Regional Sales leaders from Acute Care and TTM businesses.
  • Maintain knowledge and expertise as a TTM and Acute Care solution expert, i.e., products (Artic Sun, Arctic Gel Pads, Sensica, BBS, SureStep products, Foley Alternatives, etc.) and BD clinical value wedge (Analytics Portal, EMR interoperability, BD Acute Academy, Clinical Connect Program, Virtual Reality, etc.)
  • Leverage TTM Solution and Zero-In Lifecycle Assessment data to lead and partner in change management activities associated with process improvement recommendations from data insights gained.
  • Effectively deliver presentations and reports to various audiences: Nursing Leadership, C-Suite, Department Directors, Medical Directors, and Supply Chain.
  • Collaborates with the Regional Sales team during quarterly Territory Business Planning and WIN Room Discussions to discuss facilitating strategy for current and competitive Key Accounts.
  • Network and participate in local, state, and national associations, i.e., AHA, SCCM, NANN, AAP, APIC, AACN, and WOCN.
  • Interact with customer committees as requested (i.e., product, safety, infection control, policy committees, code blue, critical care, emergency medicine, and BioMed.)
  • Maintains a strong presence on TTM and Acute Care regional teams to assist in strategizing and implementing the UCC clinical solutions to our key accounts, along with providing ongoing clinical support for regional sales team members during account business planning.
  • Supports UCC Clinical Managers' continued development through field-rides, consistent communication, collaboration and feedback as needed.
  • Serve as a key leader in driving and deploying clinical best practices in the field to allow a consistent customer approach and maximize the time of the UCC team members.
  • Under the leadership of the Clinical Solution Director and Senior Clinical Solution Manager, this role will be a key member of the clinical innovation team, supporting the development and deployment of refined and/or new clinical programs and offerings for the Acute Care and TTM sales/clinical teams.
  • Serve as key liaison with the UCC marketing teams to provide intel, perspective , and recommendations on strategy and deployment of initiatives.
  • Consistent time in the field is essential, specific to the needs of the business units, customer engagements, and coordination of important initiatives.
  • Support the Clinical Solution Director and marketing team in developing a robust KOL strategy in the US region.
  • Work closely with the Director of National Accounts (DNA’s) to best position and convey our clinical solutions to customers and end-users.
  • Assist in onboarding sales/clinical new hires as necessary, in close partnership with Acute Care and TTM training teams.
  • Must be flexible to meet the needs of a growing Acute Care and TTM business , understanding that additional needs may be added to the job description.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience and demonstrated consistent success in process improvement, best practices, and change management within the MedTech industry, clinical, sales, and/or marketing experience in MedTech.
  • Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree, degree level qualification , or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Travel time: Up to 75 % per week , including overnight travel.
  • Understanding of Healthcare and Life Sciences industry trends, the neonatal , pediatric , and neuro care setting, competitive threats, and opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional/matrixial environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Proven analytical skills , which include problem-solving, qualitative reasoning, and hypothetical-driven consulting approaches.
  • Ability to Navigate the C-Suite with the aid of the UCC National Accounts and the Strategic Customer Group during customer engagements.
  • Ability to effectively present complex data insight and information in a one-on-one or group situation using effective communication tools and techniques.
  • Decipher analytics to provide valuable data insights that can be leveraged to meet accreditation requirements , CDC guidelines for infection prevention , and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing Word , PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams ; Advanced knowledge of PowerBi , QlikView, Salesforce, and Show pad.
