About the role
- SITS Developer collaborating with IT Services and stakeholders to enhance the student record system at BSU. Responsible for design, development, testing, and coordination of SITS processes and integrations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow developers, wider IT Services teams, Registry Teams and stakeholders across the University to design, develop, test, and enhance the student record system.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience of SITS Development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentational skills
- An understanding of current IT developments
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of the University’s Student Records and Learning and Teaching systems
- Knowledge of SQL database structures for Student Records and Learning and Teaching systems.
- Previous experience of training other users.
