About the role

  • IS Commercial Director responsible for key proposals and contract negotiations at Baker Hughes. Overseeing complex sales processes and driving shareholder value in energy technology.

Responsibilities

  • Developing proposals; may negotiate with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value; drive competitive pricing
  • Handing complex products and systems that require technical knowledge and understanding of the environment where the products or systems will be used
  • Managing complex long term sales processes
  • Contracts involve pricing and conditions of sales, rent, operation and maintenance
  • Handling important business unit clients
  • Handling big or highly complex markets / Large potential for growth

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • Have 12 years of experience in O&G, and minimum of 5 years in sales and commercial
  • Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Have demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
  • Have an established project management skills
  • Able to communicate in fluent English
  • Be able to communicate both in Portuguese and Spanish.
