Territory Sales Manager developing strategic plans for sales of Non-destructive Testing systems. Managing customer relationships and driving deals to closure within key industry segments.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing a strategic territory plan for the sale of Non-destructive testing systems.
Selling product(s) and services including system upgrades, service contracts and inspection services within assigned geographical area.
Developing a pipeline by having a clear understanding of sales processes and stages.
Forecasting of system and service sales to the region director including weekly deal and pipeline reviews.
Managing CRM to ensure accuracy of forecast to the business.
Traveling throughout the territory to manage installed base, developing new opportunities and managing customer relationships.
Working with Application Engineers to qualify the opportunity, developing deal strategies and becoming the technical solution of choice for the customer.
Driving deals to closure including quoting, negotiation and OTR (Order to Remittance) handoff.
Requirements
Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma or equivalent.
Possess experience in key strategic segments: Avionics, Electronics, Space and Defense, and Automotive/Electric Vehicles.
Have up to 5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
Possess Capital Sales Experience with Deal Values greater than $750,000 USD.
Have a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in sales.
Be able to travel 50%-70% of the time.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to manage several sales opportunities simultaneously.
