About the role
- Mid/Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in AWS and DevOps practices for BAE Systems. Collaborating in a hybrid team environment to enhance complex digital solutions.
Responsibilities
- Introducing and following the best standards in DevOps practice
- Automation of product deployments
- System platform administration and monitoring
- Reproducing, investigating and diagnosing the most complex issues related to supported platform and its architecture
Requirements
- At least 3-4 years of practical experience in DevOps role
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience in CI/CD (Jenkins, ArgoCD)
- Experience in AWS Cloud
- Experience in administration of Linux
- Understanding complex system architectures and ability to support creating new ones
- Good knowledge of a scripting language (i.e. Bash, Python)
- Experience with version control system (GIT)
- Experience with monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager)
- Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt is a plus
- Solid understanding of computer networks (configuration and troubleshooting)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring
- CKA, or CKAD, or CKS certificate is a plus
