Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of complex, high-impact projects that shape national security
Act as deputy to the Senior Project Controls Manager, guiding a large and diverse Project Controls team
Ensure the successful control of up to nine major submarine disposal projects
Oversee planning, governance, and reporting for multiple submarine disposal baselines
Drive coherence and quality across all project controls datasets and performance metrics
Deliver project assurance activities across the full project lifecycle, including pre-bid
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to over 30 project controls professionals
Requirements
Extensive experience in project controls, project management, or programme management.
Proven experience leading and managing teams.
Recent, relevant experience in cost control or finance within a comparable sector.
Experience managing complex project controls across varied products, services, and lifecycle stages.
Experience working within engineering, nuclear, defence, or other highly regulated environments (advantageous).
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline.
APM Project Professional Qualification (PPQ) or equivalent.
Additional project management certifications or advanced professional memberships - Desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
