  • Senior Management Accountant at Babcock supporting financial requirements of Defence programs. Preparing forecasts and budgets while delivering financial performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial requirements of Defence programs
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets, and contract reporting outputs
  • Deliver insightful financial performance analysis
  • Ensure accurate month-end activities, cash flow forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Partner with program stakeholders and support ad-hoc projects
  • Provide financial clarity that drives decision-making

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Commerce
  • Membership (or near completion) with a professional accounting body
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards and financial analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent planning skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously when required
  • Proven time management and prioritisation skills
