About the role
- Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure projects supporting national defence at HMNB Clyde. Leading, managing, and ensuring successful completion per time, cost, and quality.
Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of construction and engineering infrastructure projects
- Developing project briefs and coordinating design production
- Managing tender processes and securing client funding
- Supervising contractors during implementation
- Overseeing the handover process to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- Proven experience managing construction or engineering infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as NEC4 or JCT
- Understanding of RIBA Plan of Work stages
- Knowledge of Principal Designer responsibilities under CDM 2015 regulations
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within teams
- Minimum HNC in a relevant discipline (Building Construction, Project Management, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering)
- Full membership or working towards full membership of RICS or CIOB (preferred)
- APM Project Management Qualification (preferred but not essential)
