Customer Site Support Technician coordinating biobank operations and anticipating customer needs. Performing tasks related to sample management and quality control at Princeton location.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with on-site leadership to anticipate customer needs
Perform project task(s) to best of ability as assigned by on-site leadership
Perform or facilitate the creation of client specific SOPs, Project Definitions and other customer documents
Sample receipt and QC, coordinating and triaging shipments to appropriate departments/vendors, sample shipment receipt verification by either paper form or database (chain of custody is critical to ensure sample integrity)
Freezer defrosting and cleaning, destruction of samples as permitted, and return of samples back into inventory
Ability and willingness to work with LN2 (after appropriate training is received)
Requirements
Associates degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences/Sciences field (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, etc.) is highly preferred
2-3 years of experience with handing (receipt, storage, and destruction) preclinical and clinical samples
