About the role
- Software Architect responsible for modern ERP solutions development on Microsoft Business Central. Collaborating with team on architecture, product decisions, and maintaining system performance with a focus on quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Develop modern ERP solutions based on Microsoft Business Central and stabilize the architecture
- Work closely with product management and evaluate requirements
- Analyze and implement data models and processes through technical/IT concepts
- Support the entire product lifecycle — from idea and refactoring to quality assurance
- Create clear documentation and enforce architectural standards
- Actively participate in the Scrum team and make technical decisions
Requirements
- Degree in IT, training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or an equivalent qualification, plus experience designing complex systems
- Strong programming skills — ideally in Microsoft Business Central, ERP logic and relational databases
- Ability to structure complex requirements clearly while keeping long-term system health in mind
- Communicate openly within the team and advocate technical decisions convincingly
- Work in a structured, solution-oriented way when selecting architecture or pragmatic solutions
- Confident communication in German and English — both in collaboration and in documentation
