About the role

Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite inspections of insured locations to understand equipment conditions, general risk exposures, and safe operating practices.
- Complete routine jurisdictional inspections with support from senior engineering staff.
- Assist in loss investigations, gathering information and documentation from first notice of loss through to final reporting.
- Prepare clear and concise inspection reports using your ability to translate technical findings into easy-to-understand language.
- Support repair approvals and follow-up documentation to ensure high standards in quality assurance.
- Provide survey information to help develop quotes for unique or complex accounts.
- Build positive working relationships with Brokers and accompany them on site visits to support marketing and client engagement activities.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in building operations, commercial facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, or electrical/mechanical work.
- Post‑secondary technical training, trades/apprentice training, or equivalent hands-on mechanical/electrical experience.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑motivation, strong organization, and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Solid computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and comfort working with databases.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
