About the role
- Avaloq Developer Payments for an international bank specializing in cash instruments and payment solutions in Zürich. Collaborating with teams to optimize payments and enhance customer satisfaction through AVALOQ.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the front-to-end management of cash instruments related to transfers, money market, foreign exchange, etc.
- Analyze and implement optimizations in AVALOQ for payments, covering development, integration, testing and subsequent rollout
- Monitor payment flows in cooperation with trading and ensure delivery quality
- Accurately and timely process all client instructions
- Oversee the operation of instant payments as a containerized solution
- Take appropriate measures to optimize processes and systems
- Identify process gaps and system weaknesses in collaboration with internal and external specialists
- Serve as the point of contact for all cash-related inquiries across the bank
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through continuous feedback and product adjustments
- Work closely with IT specialists
- Participate in local and global projects.
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Professional experience in banking with Avaloq, Finnova or SimCorp software, ideally in payments
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP) certification or equivalent is an advantage
- Knowledge of financial instruments such as foreign exchange and cash, as well as market products (e.g. credit cards)
- Interest in working within a high-performing development team for payment solutions
- Interest in problem analysis and solution development in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the bigger picture
