Responsibilities
Lead, coach and develop a team of Relationship Managers to achieve business goals and deliver outstanding client experiences
Manage a personal portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients, offering an exceptional level of service and act as the champion of the relationship
Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless service delivery and client engagement strategies with enterprise wide goals
Drive business development initiatives and contribute to strategic planning within the department
Drive a sales culture which leads with relationship in order to build loyalty and consolidation of assets
Provide guidance and knowledge sharing of Priority Client needs to the broader Aviso / Qtrade firm
Deliver with support from the team exceptional events geared to this audience
Manage the budget and strategic direction of the team
Champion client engagement strategies aligned with Qtrade’s award winning platform and highlight areas of advancement required to provide outstanding service and capabilities for this client base
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and proactive client engagement
Requirements
Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration or related field (MBA an asset)
10+ years of experience in wealth management and / or online brokerage with a strong focus on HNW client segments
Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH) is required
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, at both the individual and group level
Fluent communication skills in English are required and additional language skills in Mandarin or French is an asset
Proven leadership experience managing a relationship team in high growth, client centric environments
Exceptional client relationship skills, with demonstrated ability to build trust, retain clients and grow assets under management
Digital fluency with comfort navigating and leveraging digital platforms to enhance client experience and operational efficiency
Strong business acumen and familiar with Qtrade’s platform capabilities and digital tools, or similar online brokerage/advisory platform
