About the role

  • Protective Materials Trade Compliance Manager overseeing duty drawback program and compliance with trade regulations. Collaborating with teams for efficient cross-border operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration of the company’s duty drawback program, including data collection, claim preparation, submission, and tracking.
  • Ensure all drawback claims meet U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements and timelines.
  • Maintain detailed records to support drawback filings and audit readiness.
  • Analyze import/export data to maximize recovery opportunities and improve financial outcomes.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external brokers to ensure accurate and compliant drawback processes.
  • Interpret and apply international trade laws, customs regulations, and export controls (e.g., EAR, ITAR, OFAC).
  • Ensure accurate product classification, including HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN codes.
  • Review, audit and validate import/export documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to ensure compliant movement of goods.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs, logistics, or duty drawback administration.
  • Knowledge of U.S. customs regulations, export controls, and drawback requirements.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
