About the role
- Accounting Manager overseeing monthly close processes, statutory accounts, and audits for FraBeNeLux region. Collaborating with finance teams and managing tax provision tasks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely monthly reporting and statutory accounts in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Support the Team for Tax provision and VAT declaration preparation.
- Providing oversight on certain control reviews and control implementation.
- Working with External Auditors to support Avient’s audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Support regional and corporate initiatives.
- Other projects according to business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 years + experience in Accounting and Corporate Income Tax with preference experience with a Big 4.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and any other European language is a strong asset such as Dutch or French.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organizational skills, a self-starter with high level of analytical skills and resilience.
- Working knowledge of SAP highly desirable.
- US GAAP, Dutch Gaap and other GAAP in EMEA.
- ACCA or local equivalent completed (Desirable).
- Experience with SOX Compliance (Desirable).
- Working knowledge of Hyperion, SAP (Desirable).
