Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of product designers
- Define and implement the design vision, strategy, and standards
- Actively design and refine deliverables in Figma and InDesign for new and existing products
- Oversee ongoing updates to ensure visual consistency, usability, and regulatory compliance
- Establish and maintain scalable design systems, tools, and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure seamless execution and communication
- Champion design-led thinking across teams and advocate for continuous improvement
Requirements
- 7–10+ years in product design
- 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
- Background in biotech, e-commerce or other product-based industries strongly preferred
- Pharma experience considered a plus
- Proficiency in Figma, InDesign, and design system management
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities
- Ability to align design decisions with strategic objectives
- Skilled in creative and strategic design leadership, design systems, and process management
- Experienced in documentation, compliance, and maintaining continuous product improvement
