About the role

  • Restaurant Assistant at Autogrill providing optimal guest service and supporting team leadership in Frankfurt. Involves adherence to quality standards and service excellence in a bustling environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent guest care and perform the role of host, actively supporting table service and, when required, taking responsibility for a station
  • Adhere to defined concept standards / SOPs (quality, hygiene, service, etc.), e.g., check served food and beverages for compliance with recipes
  • Lead and coach subordinate employees in line with leadership standards, e.g., during pre-shift meetings and service trainings
  • Promote additional sales (up‑selling and cross‑selling)
  • Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) such as average check, COGS, productivity and act with economic awareness
  • Plan shifts and ensure optimal staffing in coordination with the Operations Manager
  • Order supplies, continuously monitor stock levels and assist with inventories
  • Ensure an appealing appearance of our staff according to company standards
  • Optimize processes within your outlet with a focus on guest satisfaction, employee motivation and operating costs
  • Work closely with and coordinate activities with the responsible Operations Manager

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training and/or several years of professional experience in (system) hospitality, preferably in table service / full service
  • Independent, entrepreneurial mindset and approach
  • High self‑motivation and strong team spirit
  • Confident in working with people from different nationalities
  • Very good German, at least good English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work variable shifts (working hours between 05:00 and 23:00), including weekends and public holidays
