Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all activities on the construction site, as well as for the team and all matters related to it, such as working hours, timekeeping and other administrative issues.
• Critically review and report to the project owner/manager any coordination issues, specification discrepancies or other problems identified prior to execution to avoid rework.
• Directly lead the site team, providing guidance on best practices in civil construction across the various disciplines in progress, according to the phase of the project.
• Support the procurement of equipment, materials and services, receiving and directing suppliers for the preparation of budgets and submission of proposals.
• Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s established standards and Work Instructions, and inspect quality in line with Verification Checklists.
• Verify and ensure that ongoing activities follow occupational safety criteria, including the use of collective protection equipment (EPCs) and personal protective equipment (PPE), under the guidance of SESMT (Occupational Safety and Health Service).
• Prepare and perform periodic contract measurements together with subcontracted companies.

Requirements

• Completed technical course in Building Construction (Technical diploma in Edifications).
• Experience in executing construction projects and managing in-house and/or subcontracted teams.
• Ability to review and critically assess engineering designs and budget spreadsheets.
• Availability to travel throughout Brazil.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• Experience managing construction sites and related administrative activities (a plus).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM (a plus).
