About the role
- Product Designer shaping mobile app experiences for Aurora, a life management OS. Collaborating directly with CTO, focusing on user-centered design and high-quality product craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Help shape Aurora’s mobile app from first principles, working directly with our CTO and Founding Product Lead.
- Design a high-frequency, multi-daily-touch product used by influential individuals.
- Own product design end-to-end: explore problems, propose interaction models, validate ideas, and deliver polished experiences.
- Work closely with engineering and product to define what we build, not just how it looks.
- Report directly to the CTO with potential to grow into senior/executive position spanning design, product, and brand.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with ownership over shipped consumer experiences
- Experience working in fast-moving startup or zero-to-one environments
- Strong end-to-end product design skills across UX, UI, interaction design, and visual polish
- Ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant user experiences
- Experience creating and maintaining design systems, components, and interaction patterns
- Ensures consistency and scalability across the product
- Proven ability to incorporate user feedback, research insights, and data into design decisions
- Strong intuition for premium consumer expectations
- Works closely with engineers and product managers to deliver cohesive, high-quality outcomes
- Clearly articulates design rationale and tradeoffs to stakeholders
