About the role
- Junior Engineer for automation and qualification projects in the Pharma-Biotech industry. Supporting clients in enhancing digital transformation in high-tech production environments.
Responsibilities
- Handling and coordination of automation projects for the process industry
- Programming of PLCs and PLS (process control systems/DCS)
- Developing automation concepts
- Commissioning and optimization of production equipment
- Qualification of pharmaceutical process systems: preparing and drafting User Requirement Specifications (URS) and risk analyses
- Preparing functional documentation and test plans
- Conducting tests
- Providing support for automation, software and hardware
Requirements
- Interest in industrial automation as well as the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors
- Precise, detail-oriented work and enjoyment of working with digital documentation
- Ideally: basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and GxP
- Technical understanding & interest: basic knowledge of electrical engineering (automation, PLC, PLS)
- Ideally: basic knowledge in instrumentation and control (I&C)
- Basic knowledge of computer networking
- Some programming experience is an advantage; familiarity with multiple programming languages is beneficial
- Willingness to learn, commitment, enthusiasm and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills
- Independent and conscientious working style
- Very good German language skills (spoken and written) and good English (spoken and written)
- Confident user of Microsoft Word and Excel
