About the role
- Financial Analyst optimizing financial and controlling processes at SAP-focused digital transformation company. Collaborating with Accounting and Management to enhance performance metrics and reporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop, standardize, and optimize controlling and financial processes with consistent use of SAP standard processes.
- Lead and actively participate in internal projects, including enhancements to profit center accounting and project controlling.
- Serve as the business interface and work closely with Accounting, business units, and management.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses and decision-making materials for executive management.
- Prepare corporate planning and rolling forecasts, including plan/actual, forecast/actual, and variance analyses.
- Support and assist with the roll-out of SAP S/4HANA to subsidiaries.
- Enhance reports, KPI systems, and analyses to steer the business.
- Take responsibility for executing internal SAP projects.
- Perform SAP CO (Controlling) customizing settings.
- SAP-based controlling in the area of projects.
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Controlling/Finance.
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a mid-sized or service-oriented environment.
- Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and confident practical application.
- Strong analytical skills, high numerical literacy, and structured thinking.
- Solid SAP knowledge, ideally with experience in SAP customizing (desirable).
- Very confident use of MS Excel and common reporting and BI tools.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to work in a team.
- Experience with controlling processes in SAP ERP / S/4HANA.
- Customizing experience as a consultant or in-house consultant.
- Project experience in the CO module (implementation of projects/subprojects).
