About the role
- Finance Manager responsible for day-to-day finance operations and financial reporting in Kuala Lumpur. Leading a team and ensuring compliance with financial standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage all areas of day-to-day finance
- Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and acting as main point of contact for the auditors
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance overall department efficiency and effectiveness
- Support ongoing and ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
- 5+ years of fund management experience in large enterprises or financial institutions
- Strong command of fund pooling, cross-border flows, and financing instruments
- Hands-on experience with third-party payment systems
- Familiarity with tools like Excel modeling, and data analytics platforms
- Strategic mindset with strong risk awareness and cross-functional collaboration skills
