Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation of preliminary and final design reports for various clients
- Contribute to the design of plans for transportation electrification
- Perform calculations and studies required for project design
- Conduct photometric studies for the entire corridor
- Assist in the preparation of technical specifications for various systems
- Perform technical site surveys
- Attend coordination meetings with other engineering disciplines and the client
- Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimation
- Support construction monitoring during the building phase
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Knowledge of the methods, techniques, laws, codes and standards governing the field of practice
- Strong command of French and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of AGI32 lighting calculation software (an asset)
- Possession of a construction site health and safety card (an asset)
- Strong ability to work in a team
- Personal skills and qualities such as collaboration, innovation, organizational skills, and analytical and synthesis capabilities
