Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of construction delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Ensure works are carried out in line with contract documents and specifications, including rigorous testing and quality assurance.
Implement and monitor Uisce Éireann safety policies, review HSQE documentation (RAMS, TMP), and conduct weekly site safety reviews.
Act as the main point of contact for Uisce Éireann, project managers, and contractors, providing clear updates and resolving issues promptly.
Report and manage incidents, assist in investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Monitor workmanship and materials to meet required standards, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) with experience in mechanical and electrical engineering.
Proven experience administering Public Works and FIDIC contracts.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Ability to review technical documentation, monitor quality standards, and oversee compliance.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
